Tokyo is a such a great addition to the restaurants on Earl st. It’s pretty small but really nicely decorated with lots of japanese art and music playing. The sushi is so fresh, we had a mixture of sashimi and rolls and they all come out as they are prepped. They’re plated up really beautifully and the portion sizes are generous compared to other sushi restaurants I’ve been to.
We went to Tokyo quite late and the staff were really accommodating even though we were a tight squeeze before closing. Would definitely recommend trying Tokyo especially if you’re short on time, everything came out really quickly and was delicious. We look forward to going back ☺️- Parking

First time trying this Japanese place and I was really impressed. The service was quick and I had the Takoyaki and Spicy Chicken Ramen, both were so good! They even gave me some fresh orange slices after I finished, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is quite small but I loved the cosy vibe. I’ll definitely come back!

Very cute little place with a few tables upstairs and more downstairs.
We had tonkatsu, sushi, gyoza and dorayaki with green tea for dinner - everything was absolutely delicious, service was polite, friendly and very quick even though there were a number of tables in the restaurant at the same time (Friday evening)
Will definitely be back! The bento boxes and ramen that went past us to other tables all looked and smelled delicious!- Service

Highly recommend Tokyo sushi - fresh and tasty! It’s so great to have another independent restaurant pop up in Maidstone. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😊

The food was delicious, and Japanese wine complete the taste palette💖 It was the best sushi I’ve had in the area, served beautifully, nothing was missing, even the music was straight from Japan 🇯🇵 I’m a sushi lover, so I can 100% recommend it!
We have spent such a nice time there, and I’m so happy we have found this place, we will definitely come back with our friends and family next time!- Group size

Fantastic food, fantastic service. I spent a lot, but what I bought could have easily been for two people. I had thought the portions would be small, as experience has taught me from other sushi establishments, but there is no worry of that here, very generous. I particularly liked the soft shell crab roll. Will definitely recommend.

I’m really happy finally a sushi shop has been open in Maidstone. I order take away food for the first time yesterday and I’m glad to say it was the best sushi I ate from long time. Fresh made and really tasty! I went in Japan few years ago and I definitely can say this sushi is the same I ate in Tokyo. Highly recommended! I’ll be one of your regular customer! Good luck with your business! ❤️
